Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Let Watergirl reach Pink

Walk Watergirl right down the long starting staircase. From the small central stone island, jump up and right onto the higher sloping roof. Follow it right to the Pink lever and turn the fans on. Stay beside Pink for the later handoff.

  2. Climb Fireboy’s inner hill

Fireboy walks right from his starting shelf to the small sloping lip. Jump straight up before steering left onto that lip, then repeat the up-and-left jump onto the taller inner hill. Walk left down to the Purple plate.

  3. Follow the left staircase

Fireboy jumps up-left from Purple onto the inner staircase. Walk left to its pointed end and drop onto the staircase below. Follow that lower staircase right and descend its end into the bottom fire pool.

  4. Reach the lowest fan

Jump Fireboy up-left onto the long low ledge, above the purple gate. Walk left into the lowest fan. Let it lift him underneath the stone shelf above.

  5. Relay between all three fans

Steer Fireboy right into the middle fan and let it carry him up beside the diagonal ceiling. Steer left into the upper fan and ride it until he reaches the small ledge holding the round weight. Watergirl keeps Pink on throughout these transfers.

  6. Push the weight down its ramp

Move Fireboy right out of the upper fan, landing to the weight’s left. Continue right long enough to push the weight off its flat ledge and onto the descending ramp. Stop on the little starting ledge while the weight rolls away.

  7. Let the weight hold Purple

Wait for the weight to roll down the upper ramp, fall onto the inner staircase and settle on Purple. The purple gate in the lower corridor should lower completely. Leave the weight on the plate.

  8. Turn the fans off

Watergirl uses the Pink lever again to switch off all three fans. Keep her beside the lever until Fireboy has begun his return.

  9. Descend to the lower corridor

Fireboy walks left off the weight ledge onto the upper fan shelf. Walk right off that shelf onto the middle fan shelf, then left off the middle shelf onto the long low ledge. Walk fully past the long ledge’s right edge and drop onto the bottom bank.

  10. Collect the white diamond

Fireboy walks left through the open purple gate and his fire pools to the white diamond in the bottom-left corner. Return right through the same corridor and beneath the left rotating panel. Stop just left of the red doorway.

  11. Bring Watergirl to her door

Watergirl walks off the Pink ledge’s far-right edge to the shelf below. Walk left off that shelf onto the sloping zigzag, then follow the zigzag right to the bottom floor. Walk left beneath the right rotating panel toward the blue doorway.

  12. Finish together

Fireboy enters the red doorway and Watergirl enters the blue doorway. Either hero may enter first; the weight continues holding Purple and the fans stay off.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

How this room’s mechanisms work

  • Switch 1

    upper right

Walk past the handle, or use it nearby: Enter for Fireboy, E for Watergirl, or the touch Use button. Each use toggles it; it stays set after you leave.

Controls Rotating bar 1 and Rotating bar 2.

  • Switch 2

    middle right

Walk past the handle, or use it nearby: Enter for Fireboy, E for Watergirl, or the touch Use button. Each use toggles it; it stays set after you leave.

Controls Fan 1, Fan 2, and Fan 3.

  • Switch 3

    lower center

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 1.

  • Moving platform 1

    lower left

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 3.

When powered, it moves down; when power is released, it returns.

  • Rotating bar 1

    lower right

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 1.

Turns to its active angle while powered, then returns when power is released.

A rolling stone can hold a pressure plate. Follow the walkthrough’s order before releasing stones into their channels.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

Count the ring-marked diamonds still visible. All 1 are required before both matching doors can finish this room; each hero collects their own color.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
