Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Send Watergirl to the upper plate

Leave Fireboy at the upper-left start. Move Watergirl RIGHT through the long blue pool to the dry patch with the green pressure plate. Keep her on that plate: it lowers the small bridge above the left end of the pool. This dark room has no diamonds.

  2. Cross the lowered bridge with Fireboy

Jump Fireboy RIGHT to the last dry lip before the long blue pool. Jump onto the lowered bridge, then jump RIGHT again onto the high stone walkway. Watergirl must keep the plate pressed while Fireboy uses the bridge.

  3. Reach the far-right drop

Follow the high walkway RIGHT and drop onto the dry patch near Watergirl. Jump the short blue pool immediately to its right. Continue to the far-right pointed end and drop onto the stone shelf below.

  4. Take Fireboy through the red pools

Turn LEFT and follow the sloping middle path down through the short red pool. Continue left, drop onto the long red pool below, and cross it to its dry left end. Fireboy can safely cross both red pools. Step off the far-left end to the basement floor.

  5. Cross the basement with Fireboy

Head RIGHT. Jump over the first blue pool, walk through the red pool, then jump over the purple pool. Both heroes must avoid purple goo. Continue onto the stone steps on the right.

  6. Enter the orange-door enclosure

Jump up the rising stone steps. At the upper step, jump RIGHT over the left wall of the recessed enclosure and drop to the orange door. Leave Fireboy there while Watergirl finishes her route.

  7. Bring Watergirl onto the middle pillars

Release the upper plate and move Watergirl RIGHT through the short blue pool to the same far-right drop. Turn LEFT along the middle shelf. Before descending into the red pool, jump LEFT onto the higher blue-pool ledge, then jump across the separated stone pillars toward the far left.

  8. Drop safely beside the long red pool

On the far-left pillar, move off its RIGHT edge into the gap before the next pillar. Land on the dry strip at the left end of the long red pool. Walk LEFT off that strip to the basement. Do not continue right into the red pool.

  9. Take Watergirl to the lower blue exit

Move RIGHT through the basement blue pool. Jump over the red pool and the purple pool, then climb the right-hand stone steps. Jump across the orange-door enclosure onto its high RIGHT wall. Step off to the RIGHT, drop to the lowest floor, then walk LEFT to the blue door. Both matching exits must be occupied to finish.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

How this room’s mechanisms work

  • Switch 1

    upper right

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 1.

  • Moving platform 1

    upper left

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 1.

When powered, it moves down; when power is released, it returns.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
