Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Collect the starting diamonds

Watergirl takes the low blue diamond on the icy mound. From the dry floor just left of the small starting shelf, each hero jumps up onto it; Fireboy collects its orange diamond.

  2. Climb around the lower right edge

Walk right along the lowest floor to the outer wall. Jump left onto the long ledge, collect Watergirl’s blue diamond, then follow the ledge left and uphill. Fireboy collects the orange diamond near the central slope.

  3. Reach the green plate together

At the left end of this floor, jump right onto the next long walkway. Both heroes can stand on its green plate. Leave Fireboy here while Watergirl moves right past the lowered green gate.

  4. Open the red passage

Watergirl drops from the far-right end into her matching pool and collects the blue diamond. Walk left to turn the red lever. Return to the right wall, jump left onto the walkway above, then use dry takeoff points to climb the two short ledges on the right.

  5. Put Watergirl on the blue plate

Walk left to the dry bank beside the lava and jump left onto the small central shelf. Move to its right tip and jump right to the upper water pool. Watergirl crosses this pool and holds the blue plate at the far right.

  6. Slide Fireboy through the green gate

Fireboy leaves the green plate and moves right without stopping. His faster slide on the long ice strip gets him past the gate before it closes. Climb the right ledges, then cross the lava to collect both remaining orange diamonds on this floor.

  7. Send Fireboy to his exit

Return right to the dry takeoff beside the small central shelf. Jump onto the shelf, then onto the dry lip just left of the highest water pool. Jump left from that lip onto the roof. While Watergirl holds the blue plate, cross the roof, drop from its left end and enter the orange door.

  8. Hop Watergirl across the roof

Leave the blue plate, cross the water to its left dry lip and jump left onto the roof. Keep moving left, using separate small jumps across the ice strips. Collect the final blue diamond and pass the timed blue gate, then drop from the roof’s left end into the blue exit below. The two timers do not need longer delays; keeping momentum and choosing dry takeoffs are the puzzle.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

How this room’s mechanisms work

  • Switch 1

    middle left

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 1.

  • Switch 2

    middle right

Walk past the handle, or use it nearby: Enter for Fireboy, E for Watergirl, or the touch Use button. Each use toggles it; it stays set after you leave.

    Controls Moving platform 2.

  • Switch 3

    upper right

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 3.

  • Moving platform 1

    middle right

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 1.

When powered, it moves down; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 2

    middle right

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 2.

When powered, it moves left; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 3

    upper left

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 3.

When powered, it moves down; when power is released, it returns.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

A jump does not start on ice

Move completely onto a dry stone edge, let the hero settle, release Jump, and press it again. Fireboy keeps sliding, so start braking before the edge.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
