Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Take the matching pool lanes

Head right from the starting floor. At the first pair of pools, Fireboy uses the lower orange lane and Watergirl jumps onto the raised blue lane. At the second pair, Watergirl uses the lower blue lane and Fireboy jumps onto the raised orange lane. Collect the matching diamonds in each lane.

  2. Climb at the far-right wall

Continue right, jump up the outer steps, then jump LEFT onto the return corridor. Head left along this corridor, collecting the matching diamonds.

  3. Hold the central gate for your partner

Fireboy stops on the pale pressure plate near the right end of the corridor. Watergirl crosses the open middle gate and stands on the pale plate at the far-left end. With Watergirl holding that plate, Fireboy can leave the right plate and cross left. A hero alone cannot leave the first plate and keep this gate open.

  4. Climb onto the hanging planks

From the left end of the corridor, jump left onto the wall step and then right into the chamber above. Jump onto the first hanging plank, balance across it, and jump right onto the central dry ledge. Collect the two diamonds above the central mound.

  5. Cross the second plank

Move right and jump onto the second hanging plank, then right again onto the dry ledge. Both planks respond to the weight and position of their rider. Stay above the purple goo, which is dangerous to both heroes.

  6. Reach the upper bridge

Climb the two right-hand steps, turn left onto the upper route, and approach the green pressure plate. One hero holds this plate while the other crosses the extended bridge toward the left exits. Collect the two diamonds over the bridge on the way.

  7. Keep the bridge open from the far side

The first hero stands on the green plate on the left side, keeping the bridge extended while the second hero crosses. Then enter the matching orange and blue doors at the upper left. There are sixteen optional diamonds for a perfect clear.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

How this room’s mechanisms work

  • Switch 1

    lower left

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Gate 1.

  • Switch 2

    lower right

Opens the passage while its circuit is active. Wait until your partner is safely through before releasing a pressure plate.

  • Moving platform 1

    upper center

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 3 and Switch 4.

When powered, it moves left; when power is released, it returns.

    middle center

Its position responds to the weight and position of riders.

Balance on the hanging plank, then jump to the next dry ledge.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
