Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Open the green passage

Fireboy crosses the small starting lava basin, drops onto the long floor below and returns left to the green plate. Keep him there while Watergirl crosses the opening to the right.

  2. Open yellow from below

Fireboy crosses the long lava basin, jumps onto the far-right starting shelf and drops onto the yellow plate. Watergirl climbs from the central dry slope to the upper-right shelf, crosses the opened yellow passage and drops to Fireboy’s side.

  3. Hold purple for the ball

Fireboy drops from the inner edge of the right-hand shelf, crosses the middle lava basin and stands on the purple plate. Watergirl returns left along the floor above him and passes the raised purple gate. Jump onto the left edge of the ball’s shelf, leaving the ball on her right.

  4. Relay the ball across the lava

Watergirl pushes the ball right. Once she is through the purple gate, Fireboy leaves the plate and waits in the lava beneath the shelf’s right edge. Watergirl pushes the ball off the shelf so it lands just to his right. Fireboy then pushes it up the sloping lava bank and into the cyan switch well.

  5. Descend through the cyan opening

Leave the ball in its well. Watergirl climbs the small triangular shelf above the cyan opening and drops through once the bridge has fully moved. Both heroes cross to the right, drop from the end of this floor and land on the shelf below.

  6. Hold pink while Fireboy passes

Watergirl returns left along the lower bridge, jumps onto the higher central floor and holds the pink plate. Fireboy follows onto that floor, crosses the lava to its far-left end and drops down the left slope to the bottom floor. Walk right underneath the raised pink gate.

  7. Lower pink to make the return crossing

Once Fireboy is on the right side of the bottom gate, Watergirl steps off pink onto dry ground. Fireboy jumps left from the bottom floor onto the small lava island. Cross left over the top of the lowered pink gate and walk through the red lever.

  8. Enter the bottom-right doors

The red lever opens a drop in the bridge above the exits. Watergirl crosses the dry central floor to the right and drops through that opening. Fireboy returns right over the small lava island and drops to the bottom floor. Finish at the red and blue doors on the right; either character may enter first.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
