Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Sweep the freezing light across the pools

Use the small round knob on the long control track at the bottom of the room. Drag it from its starting position to the right end. The mirror at the upper right turns as the knob moves, sweeping the pale beam across the lower, middle and upper blue pools. Wait until all three pools have turned to ice. They stay frozen after you release the knob.

  2. Fireboy takes the upper diamonds

Move Fireboy right down the first slope and across the frozen upper pool for its red diamond. Continue beyond the shelf’s right tip and land on the middle platform. Follow that platform’s rising right slope for the next red diamond. Move off the high tip toward the right side of the room, passing through the red diamond above the lower right corner as you fall.

  3. Watergirl visits the right-wall diamond

From the lower right corner, move left to the dry base of the stone arch. Jump left onto its right step, then jump left again onto the frozen pool at its top. Walk back to the dry lip on the pool’s right side and jump right onto the small wall ledge, collecting the high blue diamond. Step left off the wall ledge to the arch’s right step, then jump left onto the frozen pool again.

  4. Take the bottom diamond passage

Fireboy also climbs the arch from the lower right corner using the same two leftward jumps. Both heroes cross the frozen arch pool leftward, then descend its left steps to the bottom floor. Watergirl collects the low blue diamond during this descent. Continue left along the floor; jump over the round mirror-control knob when it blocks the passage. Fireboy visits the far-left red diamond with a jump from the floor beneath it.

  5. Climb the left-hand stone steps

From the dry floor near the left wall, jump right onto the exposed end of the long diagonal shelf. Walk up it, then jump left onto the separate stone mound. Move to the mound’s high point. Watergirl jumps left through the blue diamond by the wall, then jumps back right onto the mound. From its high point, both heroes jump right onto the dry tip of the middle platform.

  6. Cross the middle ice pool

Follow the middle platform right through its frozen basin. Fireboy collects the red diamond near its left side; Watergirl collects the blue diamond farther right. Continue up the long icy slope to its high right tip. Watergirl collects the blue diamond near that tip. Use the dry flat section below the slope for jumps; the icy strips prevent takeoff.

  7. Send each hero toward their own exit

After taking his remaining diamonds, Fireboy moves off the high right tip and descends to the red exit in the lower right corner. Watergirl turns back left down the slope to its dry flat section, then jumps left onto the end of the upper shelf. Walk left across the upper frozen pool and up the slope toward her blue exit.

  8. Finish after the diamond loops

Watergirl should wait on the upper-left slope outside her door until Fireboy has completed his bottom and middle diamond loops. Once all 10 diamonds are collected and Fireboy is at his red exit, move Watergirl into the blue exit. Either hero can travel first, provided Watergirl waits before this final step.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

A jump does not start on ice

Move completely onto a dry stone edge, let the hero settle, release Jump, and press it again. Fireboy keeps sliding, so start braking before the edge.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
