The Small and Heavy Crossing

Use both companions to connect the two halves of the room. The Small friend opens the crate trapdoor and threads the narrow upper passages. The Heavy friend gives both heroes a step up to the right-hand roof, then helps Fireboy reach the lower green lever. Keep the Small friend available for the final purple button.

Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Climb to the white button

Jump from the starting floor onto the long shelf above it. Fireboy collects the red diamond on that shelf. Watergirl jumps onto the smaller shelf to its left and holds the white button, lowering the outer lift.

  2. Send Fireboy to the top-left corner

Fireboy drops back to the starting floor, jumps left onto the lowered lift and waits while Watergirl releases white. Let the Small friend hold blue. Fireboy crosses his lava pool, jumps onto the lowered blue platform and walks onto the dry bank to its right. Release blue, then jump onto the upper platform for the red diamond.

  3. Bring the Small friend down

Fireboy holds blue so the Small friend can leave the starting alcove. Jump the friend to the dry right bank, back onto the blue platform and towards the white lift. Watergirl holds white while the friend lands on the lowered lift. Jump right onto the heroes’ starting floor.

  4. Collect the lower-left blue diamond

Fireboy comes down by the same lift and climbs back to hold white. Watergirl boards the lowered lift, then Fireboy releases the button to carry her past the blue diamond. Lower the lift again so she can jump back to the starting floor and climb to the long shelf.

  5. Open the middle green gate

The Small friend walks beneath the low stone wall and climbs the narrow steps to the green button above it. Hold green until both heroes have crossed the gate on the long shelf. Watergirl collects the blue diamond just beyond it.

  6. Drop the crate into the central pool

The Small friend climbs the remaining steps to the upper pink lever. Walk past it to retract the two trapdoor panels. Wait for the crate to settle in the purple pool below.

  7. Cross the central pool

Each hero climbs the sloping bank, jumps onto the crate and jumps again to the dry right bank. Fireboy collects the red diamond over the first jump, and Watergirl collects the blue one over the second.

  8. Use the Heavy friend as a step

Cross the next purple pool using its horizontal ferry. On the far bank, jump onto the Heavy friend’s head, then onto the upper-right shelf. Collect Watergirl’s blue diamond. Keep both heroes away from the cyan button until the Heavy friend boards the ferry.

  9. Bring the Heavy friend across

Jump the Heavy friend onto the ferry. Watergirl holds cyan to move it left. Jump the friend from the ferry’s left edge to the dry bank; a second jump from the edge may be needed. Leave him near the yellow lift.

  10. Close the trapdoor behind the crate

The Small friend steps away from the pink lever, then walks past it again to close the upper floor. The crate stays below as the bridge. Cross the closed floor and approach the right-hand tip of the low roof.

  11. Follow the Small friend’s roof passage

Jump up before steering left onto the sloping roof, then climb onto the higher roof from its left end. Walk right and drop to the narrow shelf below. Follow it left to the next opening, then walk right along the lowest shelf and drop onto the ferry. Keep Watergirl on cyan throughout.

  12. Lower the yellow lift

Jump the Small friend left from the ferry and walk onto the yellow lift. Continue left into the narrow diagonal passage beside it. Follow that passage down and return right to the yellow button on the bottom floor. Holding it lowers the lift.

  13. Bring Fireboy and the Heavy friend downstairs

Fireboy leaves the upper-right shelf, returns across the ferry and takes the lowered yellow lift down. The Heavy friend follows. Both step off the lift onto the bottom floor. Move the Heavy friend to the far-right wall.

  14. Reach the lower green lever

Fireboy jumps onto the Heavy friend’s head, then onto the shelf above and to its left. Collect the red diamond and walk past the green lever. This opens the gate between the two bottom areas. Drop back to the bottom floor.

  15. Bring Watergirl downstairs

Watergirl leaves cyan and drops to the dry far-right bank. Cross the returning ferry, walk onto the lowered yellow lift and step off onto the bottom floor. Keep the Small friend on yellow until she is down.

  16. Send the Small friend back to purple

With the lower green gate open, bring the Small friend left to the raised bottom bank. Jump onto the right tip of the floating stone island, then onto the next island to its left. Take the short jump from that island’s left edge onto the starting floor’s upper extension. Walk through the low passage to hold purple.

  17. Collect the final two diamonds

Watergirl jumps from the raised bottom bank onto the right tip of the floating island, then jumps above it for her blue diamond. Return off its right edge before walking left beneath it. Fireboy collects the remaining low red diamond with a jump from the bottom floor.

  18. Finish through the lower-left doors

The Small friend must keep holding purple to leave the exit passage open. Walk both heroes through it and into their matching doors. All ten diamonds can be collected, and either hero can enter first.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
