Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Hold the bottom Red plate

Watergirl walks right from the start and stands on the Red plate. Keep her there while Fireboy crosses the bottom lava to the left bank. Fireboy jumps onto the raised lift, then jumps right onto the pointed lower shelf.

  2. Bring the crate down on the left

Fireboy climbs onto the crate’s shelf and gets to its right. Push the crate left to the pointed end, then stop so it drops to the bottom-left bank. Jump down to the left lift and step right onto the bank, keeping to the left of the crate.

  3. Move the crate towards Watergirl

Fireboy pushes the crate right across the bottom lava towards the Red plate. Watergirl stays on the right bank. Fireboy jumps over the crate, steps down on its right and pushes it back left to the dry bank beside the lava.

  4. Cross the lava together

Watergirl jumps onto the crate. Fireboy pushes it left across the lava while Watergirl walks left to stay above it. Release movement on the left bank, then move Watergirl off the crate and onto the lowered lift at the far left.

  5. Leave the crate on Red

Fireboy jumps over the crate to its left and pushes it all the way back to the Red plate. Ease off before the plate and let the crate settle on it; the crate must overlap the plate after Fireboy steps away. Watergirl rides the raised lift and jumps right onto the lower shelf.

  6. Bring Fireboy up

Fireboy returns left across the lava. From the dry bank, jump upward before steering left onto the raised lift. Jump right from the lift onto the pointed shelf. Both heroes can now climb right onto the broad lower platform.

  7. Climb around the right-hand end

Walk each hero right along the lower platform to the wall. Jump upward before steering left onto the pointed shelf above. Follow that shelf left, up its slopes, then jump onto the low stone step at the far left.

  8. Reach the upper walkway

Jump up and right to the dry end of the next shelf. From there, jump up-left onto the small wall ledge. Take a short run to the right and jump across to the long upper walkway. Keep Fireboy on its dry left side; Watergirl can cross the water to the rising path on the right.

  9. Start the rolling weight

Watergirl walks up the right-hand path and gently nudges the round weight right, then stops on the high shelf. Let the weight roll down through the outer chute.

  10. Send the weight onto Cyan

Fireboy steps left off the upper walkway to the shelf below, then walks right across its lava. Meet the returning weight from the left on the dry ledge before the purple goo and nudge it right. It rolls across the goo, beneath the low right-hand stone and onto the Cyan plate below. Wait until the upper-left gate is fully raised.

  11. Collect the required white diamond

Fireboy returns left, jumps back through the small wall ledge and takes a running jump onto the upper walkway again. From its left end, jump upward before steering left onto the gated shelf. Walk left to collect the white diamond.

  12. Return to the matching doors

Fireboy returns right to the upper walkway, then jumps up-right onto the central exit platform. Watergirl comes back left across the upper water, stops on the dry right bank and jumps up-left onto the same platform. Walk Fireboy into the red door and Watergirl into the blue door. Either can enter first.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

How this room’s mechanisms work

  • Switch 1

    lower right

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 1.

  • Switch 2

    middle right

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 2.

  • Moving platform 1

    lower left

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 1.

When powered, it moves up; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 2

    upper left

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 2.

When powered, it moves up; when power is released, it returns.

  • Stone box 1

    middle left

Walk against its side to push it along its supporting surface.

A box can provide a step, load a counterweighted lift, or hold a pressure plate where the room’s layout allows. Follow the room route before moving it.

  • Rolling stone 1

    upper right

Push from the side to start it rolling. Slopes and gravity then guide its motion.

A rolling stone can hold a pressure plate. Follow the walkthrough’s order before releasing stones into their channels.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

Count the ring-marked diamonds still visible. All 1 are required before both matching doors can finish this room; each hero collects their own color.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
