Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Leave the starting shelf on the left

Each hero starts on a small shelf with a wall against its RIGHT edge. Walk LEFT off the shelf, fall onto the lower floor, then turn RIGHT and continue underneath it. The two lanes stay separate: Fireboy is above and Watergirl is below.

  2. Weave through the first columns

Walk right up the first short slope, stopping beside the tall floor column. Jump UP against its side, then steer RIGHT onto its sloping cap. Continue right and drop beneath the next hanging column. Stop just past that overhang before jumping again: a jump made while your head is underneath it will be cut short. Jump onto the short rising ledge for your first diamond, then jump again onto the next tall column and continue right.

  3. Cross the first pool

After the second hanging column, jump up the bank on the RIGHT. Wait on the dry rim before jumping across the small pool and collecting the diamond above it. These are dangerous pools for the hero in each lane: Fireboy must clear the blue water, and Watergirl must clear the orange fire. Land on the descending dry slope beyond the pool.

  4. Use all three stepping stones

Continue right to the edge of the long pool. Jump onto the first broad stone and collect the diamond above it, then jump RIGHT onto the higher middle stone. Jump right again onto the third stone, and once more onto the dry bank beyond the pool. The ceiling is lower over the middle stone, so keep steering during that next jump instead of waiting for a high arc. Collect the low diamond by the far bank.

  5. Climb the last tall column

Walk right up the short slope and jump onto the next rising step. Stop beside the final tall column. Jump straight UP first, then steer RIGHT after lifting clear of its vertical face. Keep moving across its sloping cap and down the dry ramp on the far side.

  6. Clear the final pool and reach both doors

Jump from the bottom of the dry ramp across the last pool. Collect the last diamond during the crossing, land on the dry floor, and enter the matching door to the RIGHT. Repeat the route in the other lane. Each hero collects five diamonds, and either hero may reach the exit first. Both doors complete the level together.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.

Level questions

How do you finish The Parallel Crossing?

Fireboy follows the upper lane and Watergirl follows the lower lane. Move under the hanging columns, jump over the rising ones, and use the three stepping stones to cross the long dangerous pool. Bring Fireboy to the orange exit in the middle right and Watergirl to the blue exit in the lower right. Both heroes must be at their own doors together. The 10 unmarked diamonds are optional; collect every diamond for a perfect clear.

How many diamonds are required in The Parallel Crossing?

10 diamonds: 5 for Fireboy and 5 for Watergirl. None are required to finish. 10 unmarked diamonds are optional collectibles for a perfect clear.

Which hazards are in The Parallel Crossing?

3 orange lava pools (middle center, lower center, and lower right) and 3 blue water pools (middle center and middle right). Fireboy can enter orange lava; Watergirl must avoid it. Watergirl can enter blue water; Fireboy must avoid it. If either hero falls into a dangerous pool, both players restart the level.

Does The Parallel Crossing need a partner to hold a switch?

There are no levers or pressure plates in this room. Each hero can follow their own route, but both matching exits are still needed to finish.
