Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Reach the crate shelf

Watergirl moves toward the right edge of her starting ledge, builds up a run and jumps right just before leaving it. This reaches the left tip of the central stone shelf. Move to that shelf’s left edge and jump left onto the shelf beside the crate. Cross over the crate to the little ledge on its left. Jump toward the blue diamond by the left wall, then steer right while still airborne to return to that ledge.

  2. Hold the purple lift plate

Watergirl returns to the right side of the crate shelf and jumps right onto the pool above it. Walk right for its blue diamond, then return to its left edge and jump left onto the next wet shelf. Walk left through that pool for the blue diamond and stand on the purple plate. It raises the crate lift.

  3. Send the crate down the central shaft

Fireboy moves just to the right of the central shelf above his spawn. Jump upward before steering left onto it. Move to its left edge and jump left to the crate shelf. Jump over the raised crate, land on its left ledge and push it right across the shelf. Stop at the shelf’s right edge as the crate drops through the open central shaft and lands in the broad reservoir near the bottom. Fireboy waits on this edge.

  4. Bring Watergirl down to the crate

Watergirl crosses right from the purple shelf onto the green-button shelf and briefly holds that plate to move the green bridge. Walk left off it into the central shaft and land on the crate far below. Jump right onto the little stone beside the lower white portal, then walk off its right edge into the reservoir. From the crate’s right side, push it left off the reservoir’s edge and wait for it to fall to the bottom-left floor.

  5. Collect the bottom blue diamond

Watergirl has dropped onto the lowered crate. Jump straight up before steering right onto the reservoir again. Cross the pool and step off its right edge to the bottom floor. Walk left beneath the reservoir to collect the blue diamond above the white plate. Continue left until just outside the pool’s left edge. The crate has tipped and settled near the wall.

  6. Park the crate on the white plate

Jump left onto the tilted crate, then jump upward and steer left after a brief pause. Land in the space between the crate and the left wall. Push it right along the bottom floor and stop with the crate centred over the white plate, allowing room for it to settle. Move Watergirl left away from the plate. The crate keeps the white portal pair powered.

  7. Collect the central red diamonds

Fireboy steps right off his waiting shelf into the middle of the shaft. Keep him centred while he falls through the red diamonds and into the lower white portal. It sends him back to the top of the shaft, where he collects the remaining central red diamond on the next descent. Leave him centred: he can continue falling through the white pair safely while Watergirl prepares the bridge.

  8. Take Watergirl to the upper-left gallery

From the bottom-left floor, Watergirl jumps upward and right onto the reservoir. Walk to its centre and jump straight up into the lower white portal. Immediately steer left after appearing above. Her upward momentum gives her time to reach the upper-left gallery and collect its blue diamond.

  9. Catch Fireboy on the green bridge

Watergirl jumps right onto the small stone beside the upper white portal, then jumps over the portal gap onto the stone on its right. Continue right and drop onto the upper-right gallery. Step left off its edge, let her fall below the gallery, then steer right onto the green plate beneath it. Hold the plate until the bridge moves fully left and catches Fireboy as he descends from the upper portal.

  10. Collect the last red diamond and finish Fireboy

Fireboy walks to the bridge’s right end and jumps right onto the upper-right gallery for its red diamond. Return toward that gallery’s left edge, jump left onto the bridge, walk to the bridge’s left end and jump left onto the upper-left gallery. Walk into the red door while Watergirl keeps holding the green plate. All ten diamonds are now collected.

  11. Return Watergirl through the white portal

Watergirl leaves the green plate to the left and drops down the central opening. Once below the nearby pool, steer right onto the central stone shelf. Walk right off that shelf onto the starting ledge, left off that ledge onto the small stone beside the lower white portal, then right off that stone into the reservoir. Walk to the pool’s centre and jump upward into the white portal again. This time steer right immediately after appearing above and land in the upper-right gallery. Walk into the blue door.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

How this room’s mechanisms work

  • Switch 1

    lower center

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

Controls Portal 1 and Portal 2.

  • Switch 2

    middle center

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 2.

  • Moving platform 1

    upper center

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 2.

When powered, it moves left; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 2

    middle center

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 3.

When powered, it moves up; when power is released, it returns.

  • Portal 1

    lower center

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 1.

Step inside to travel to Portal 2. Step out of the destination before trying to return.

  • Portal 2

Step inside to travel to Portal 1. Step out of the destination before trying to return.

  • Stone box 1

    middle center

Walk against its side to push it along its supporting surface.

A box can provide a step, load a counterweighted lift, or hold a pressure plate where the room’s layout allows. Follow the room route before moving it.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
