Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Clear the lower blue beam

Move each hero right along the bottom floor and jump over the short pillar near the middle. Both heroes must stand to the right of the pillar: either one left in front of the blue beam blocks its receiver. Wait for the blue gate farther right to lower completely.

  2. Reach the mirror box

Fireboy jumps right over the lowered gate onto the rising stone path. Walk onto the flat shelf, jump over the mirror box and stop on the dry shelf to its right. Watergirl follows up the same path, but stops on the box’s left side.

  3. Align the reflected yellow beam

Watergirl gently pushes the mirror box right until its centre sits under the downward yellow beam. The box should reflect that beam horizontally toward the receiver on the right wall. Watergirl jumps across the box and visits the blue diamond on the right shelf. Both heroes then jump left onto the box, staying near its left edge so their bodies no longer block the reflected ray. Wait for the yellow gate to the left to rise fully.

  4. Climb to the green lever

From the box, Watergirl jumps left onto the small stone shelf beyond the raised yellow gate. Fireboy follows, collecting the red diamond on that shelf. Both jump left onto the next, higher step. Leave Fireboy there while Watergirl jumps right onto the long upper shelf, collects its blue diamond and walks through the green lever.

  5. Open the upper crossing

Wait beside the lever while its mirror turns and sends the yellow beam upward into the receiver above it. This lowers the yellow gate near the centre of the room. Fireboy jumps left across that opening onto the broad upper shelf, walks beneath the red diamond and jumps straight up to collect it.

  6. Gather on the upper-left shelf

Watergirl returns to the left edge of the lever shelf, jumps left onto the middle step and then jumps left through the lowered gate. Walk left beneath the remaining blue diamond and jump straight up to collect it. Bring Fireboy left to join her on that shelf. All five diamonds should now be collected.

  7. Aim the dial at the exit receiver

Drag the round knob on the horizontal light dial slightly left of its starting midpoint. Watch the yellow beam tilt down from the upper-left mirror until it strikes the yellow receiver above the middle shelf. Hold that alignment while the horizontal yellow platform at the left retracts fully into the stone on its right.

  8. Drop to the two exits

Move Fireboy left off the upper shelf into the gap that the yellow platform opened. Let him land on the lower exit shelf, then walk left into the red door. Watergirl drops through the same gap, then walks right along the lower shelf into the blue door.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

How this room’s mechanisms work

  • Switch 1

    middle right

Walk past the handle, or use it nearby: Enter for Fireboy, E for Watergirl, or the touch Use button. Each use toggles it; it stays set after you leave.

This switch has no connected device in the current room.

  • Moving platform 1

    middle left

No switch is connected to this mechanism.

When powered, it moves right; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 2

    middle center

No switch is connected to this mechanism.

When powered, it moves down; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 3

    middle center

No switch is connected to this mechanism.

When powered, it moves up; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 4

    lower center

No switch is connected to this mechanism.

When powered, it moves down; when power is released, it returns.

  • Stone box 1

    lower right

Walk against its side to push it along its supporting surface.

A box can provide a step, load a counterweighted lift, or hold a pressure plate where the room’s layout allows. Follow the room route before moving it.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

The diamonds in this room are optional. If you only want to finish, bring both heroes fully inside their own matching doors.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.

For touch controls, jumping, audio, or online connection problems, see player troubleshooting.
