Use the lower stone block to keep the orange passage open, visit both sides of the white crystal, then push the upper heavy block onto its counterweight. There are eleven diamonds, including one white diamond that either character can collect.

Level objective

Collect all 1 ring-marked diamond, then bring Fireboy to the orange exit in the middle right and Watergirl to the blue exit in the upper right. Both heroes must be at their own doors together. The 10 unmarked diamonds are optional; collect every diamond for a perfect clear.

Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Open the bottom passage

Watergirl walks right off the starting platform, drops to the bottom and jumps onto the orange pressure-plate ledge on the right. Stay on the plate. Fireboy walks left through the opening it creates, drops to the bottom corridor, collects the red diamond and stands on the yellow plate.

  2. Leave a block on the orange plate

Keep Fireboy on yellow. Watergirl leaves orange, drops left off its ledge and climbs the low central wall to the shelf with the stone block. Push the block right through the open yellow gate until it drops onto the orange plate. The block now keeps the bottom-left passage open.

  3. Collect the bottom diamonds

Fireboy leaves yellow and walks right past the white lever to turn the crystals off. Watergirl returns left through the orange opening, collects the low blue diamond, then jumps up before steering right out of the passage. Continue to the bottom-right corner for the white diamond.

  4. Visit the outside right shaft

Fireboy uses the white lever again to restore the crystals. Watergirl approaches the lower crystal from the right. Use short movement taps near its surface, then turn right immediately after appearing above. Fall down the outside shaft to collect the blue diamond, landing beside the orange plate.

  5. Reach the upper blue diamonds

Watergirl walks left off the orange ledge and returns to the lower crystal from its left. Approach slowly, then turn left as soon as the upper crystal receives her. Walk left along the top corridor through both blue diamonds. Drop down its left end and stand on the green plate.

  6. Collect Fireboy’s lava diamond

Keep Watergirl on green. Fireboy returns left through the bottom corridor and jumps up through the orange opening. Move just beyond the right end of the left lava shelf, jump upwards, then steer left into the lava to collect its red diamond. Continue left and jump onto the stone above the green gate.

  7. Collect Fireboy’s outside diamond

Walk left through the gap opened by green and drop back to the lava shelf. Walk off its right end, then continue right to the bottom crystal. Enter from the left and keep moving right after arriving above. Fall through the outside red diamond to the orange ledge.

  8. Return to the green ledge

Fireboy drops left off the orange ledge and returns to the lower crystal. This time approach with short taps and turn left on arrival above. Walk along the top corridor and drop onto Watergirl’s green ledge to collect the red diamond there.

  9. Hold the purple shelf open

Watergirl leaves the green ledge to the right and follows the middle corridor onto the purple plate. Fireboy follows her, collecting the red diamond in that corridor. Leave Fireboy on purple so Watergirl can climb.

  10. Load the counterweight

Watergirl walks left along the middle corridor. Jump upwards before steering right onto the central sloping platform to collect the last blue diamond. Jump onto its right-hand tip, then jump up and left onto the upper shelf, landing to the right of the heavy block. Push the block left onto the counterweight platform and let it descend.

  11. Cross above the lava

The heavy block lowers the left platform and raises its partner above the middle lava pool. Watergirl jumps back onto the central sloping platform, climbs to the upper shelf and jumps right over its pointed stone support. Jump onto the raised counterweight, then across to the blue exit ledge.

  12. Finish at the matching doors

Watergirl walks right into the upper blue door. Fireboy leaves purple, walks right through his lava pool and enters the lower red door. Either character can enter first. Leave the heavy block on its platform until Watergirl is safely across.

This route was verified in the game simulation using player controls, required diamonds, and both matching exits. It describes this version’s independently reconstructed room, not an official walkthrough.

How this room’s mechanisms work

  • Switch 1

    lower right

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 1.

  • Switch 2

    lower center

Walk past the handle, or use it nearby: Enter for Fireboy, E for Watergirl, or the touch Use button. Each use toggles it; it stays set after you leave.

Controls Portal 1 and Portal 2.

  • Switch 3

    lower center

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 3.

  • Switch 4

    middle center

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 6.

  • Switch 5

    middle left

Keep a hero or movable weight on this plate to keep its signal active. Stepping off releases it.

    Controls Moving platform 2.

  • Moving platform 1

    lower left

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 1.

When powered, it moves right; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 2

    middle left

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 5.

When powered, it moves right; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 3

    middle right

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 3.

When powered, it moves up; when power is released, it returns.

  • Moving platform 4

    upper left

The relative weight on its connected platforms drives this platform.

Loading one side of the pulley pair lowers that side and raises the other.

  • Moving platform 5

    middle center

The relative weight on its connected platforms drives this platform.

Loading one side of the pulley pair lowers that side and raises the other.

  • Moving platform 6

    upper center

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 4.

When powered, it moves left; when power is released, it returns.

  • Portal 1

    lower right

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 2.

Step inside to travel to Portal 2. Step out of the destination before trying to return.

  • Portal 2

    upper right

At least one of these inputs must be active: Switch 2.

Step inside to travel to Portal 1. Step out of the destination before trying to return.

  • Stone box 1

    middle right

Walk against its side to push it along its supporting surface.

A box can provide a step, load a counterweighted lift, or hold a pressure plate where the room’s layout allows. Follow the room route before moving it.

  • Stone box 2

    upper center

Walk against its side to push it along its supporting surface.

A box can provide a step, load a counterweighted lift, or hold a pressure plate where the room’s layout allows. Follow the room route before moving it.

If you get stuck

Check the unfinished objective

Count the ring-marked diamonds still visible. All 1 are required before both matching doors can finish this room; each hero collects their own color.

A gate or platform moved back

A pressure plate releases when its rider or weight leaves. Keep your partner on it until you are safely across. Levers stay set after you leave; check their ON or OFF state before crossing.

A pulley is moving the wrong way

Loading one platform lowers that side and raises its partner. Shift the riders or movable weight as described in the route. A thin lift does not protect you from a dangerous pool when it sinks into the liquid.

You missed a moving platform

Return to safe ground and use the connected switch to bring it back. Board before your partner releases the plate or changes the lever. Avoid jumping into its underside; line up with the open shaft first.

You cannot recover safely

Pause and choose Restart level to reset both heroes, diamonds, weights, and switches. Previously completed levels stay saved. Follow the step order before moving a box or releasing a weight.
